Babbitt Building Up

Livello 10 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

There were 16,000 chips in the middle on the flop of 1084 and the middle position player bet 15,000. Holly Babbitt in the cutoff opted to move all in for 32,700.

The player in middle position asked for a count, but couldn't bring themselves to make the call. The middle position folded and Babbitt took in the pot.

Negreanu Mucks Kings Face Up

Livello 10 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu was in the small blind when action folded to him.

The Poker Hall of Famer and six-time WSOP bracelet winner looked at his hand and leaned forward to ask Tobias Schwecht, who was in the big blind, how much he had behind.

“About 19,200,” Schwecht replied.

“You might have me covered, but I’m going to raise anyway,” Negreanu said, as he made it 3,200 to go.

Schwecht called to bring the flop, where the dealer placed 3310 on the board. Negreanu led out with 3,000 and Schwecht called.

The turn showed 4. Negreanu bet 6,000 and Schwecht called, which drew a response.

“S***,” Negreanu said while watching the dealer pull Schwecht’s chips to the pot.

Negraneau’s reaction brought laughter from his tablemates. Well, except Schwecht, who appeared laser-focused on the hand. The river produced A, and Negreanu bet 5,500. Instead of calling this time, Schwecht moved all in.

“F***,” Negraneau said, sitting up in his chair before looking down at his remaining 5,500 in front of him.

After a few moments, Negraneau showed his hand to the player to his immediate right and then tossed KK face up into the muck.

King Rivers Straight to Double Up

Livello 10 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Caleb King moved all in from the button for 13,700 and was called by middle position.

Caleb King: 98
Middle Position: AQ

King was behind with their suited connectors and flopped a gutshot thanks to J77.

The Q provided additional flush outs which were not needed as the 10 gave King the jack-high straight and the double-up.

Alt Takes Down Pot

Livello 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Dinesh Alt flashed some early aggression to win a pot.

Alt raised to 2,500 in early position and received a call from the button before the two blinds folded.

The dealer fanned AKK on the board, and Alt continued his preflop aggression by firing 1,700 into the pot.

The player on button looked at Alt, then promptly folded to give Alt the pot.

Alt, who has already cashed at three events at the 2023 WSOP, is seeking another deep run.
