Triple Knockout For Marescaux

Livello 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

At Franck Marescaux's table, three players stood up from their seats as there was a four-way all-in, with the Frenchman putting at stake all his opponent's chips.

Player 1: KQ
Player 2: J10
Franck Marescaux: 1010
Player 3: A9

Only low cards landed on the board 45284, keeping Marescaux's tens in the lead. Thanks to this hand, he eliminated three players and took their bounties.

Zarin Collects Bounty from Short Stack

Livello 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

With the bubble bursting, multiple calls of “Payout!” are ringing throughout the tournament area as dealers alert the floor of a bust out.

This is the time when players on short stacks, most of whom refrained from putting in their chips close to making the money, now seek to double up.

Jonathan Zarin ran into this situation when a player in front of him went all with a small stack. Zarin, who had the player covered, called to put his opponent at risk.

Opponent: A4
Jonathan Zarin: 33

The dealer fanned 108x5x on the flop, keeping Zarin's small pocket pair in the lead. The 9 showed up on the turn, followed by J on the river to give Zarin a knockout and a bounty chip.

Lundhal Makes the Money with One Big Blind

Livello 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Margo Lundhal, a Vegas local who is playing her very first WSOP event, managed to make the money with only one big blind and had a good rush of cards after the bubble burst.

On the last hand, all the chips went in the middle preflop while she held pocket Kings in the big blind. Her opponent, who had, Ax5x, didn't find anything on a dry board and Lundhal is now seated with a. stack worth 50,000.

Bubble Burst - Three Players Share 334th Place

Livello 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Jesse Rosen
Jesse Rosen

Dealers were asked to stand up at the end of the hand, but one hand still in play was Jesse Rosen in early position bet 80,000, leaving 3,000 behind. Vladislav Donchev moved all in from the button for 210,000.

Rosen stalled until the clock was called on them and called with three seconds left on the clock.

Jesse Rosen: JJ
Vladislav Donchev: AK

A classic flip on the bubble. Rosen avoided trouble on the flop, but the king on the turn on the completed board of Q97K8 spelt curtains for the South African as Donchev made a pair of kings.

Fortunately for Rosen, they were not the stone bubble. Two other players were eliminated at the same time so they all receive $500 each as they chopped 334th place.

Big Double Up for Black at the Bubble

Livello 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

The board was already showing 826K2 with a large pot containing more than 110,000 chips when Taylor Black checked. His opponent, seated on the button, announced all in for a stack worth 135,000 and after some thinking, Black decided to call with slightly less.

The button tabled A9 while Black flipped over 109 for the flush and took down the large pot while his opponent was left with crumbs.

Jones Takes It River

Livello 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

In a heads-up pot, the board JA39 was already dealt when Jeremy Jones bet 23,000 from the small blind. His opponent, in the cutoff, tanked a minute and made the call.

The river brought the Q and Jones sent another bet, this time for 33,000. His opponent chose to let it go and Jones grabbed the pot as the bubble approaches.

Lin Among Top Stacks After Going Runner-Runner

Livello 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Middle position opened for 12,000 and was met with a shove from Chen An Lin from the button covering all of the remaining players. The small blind cold-called for 190,000 and the middle position player folded.

Small Blind: QQ
Chen An Lin: AQ

The small blind was ahead and the K85 was relatively safe for them. However Lin went runner-runner when the J10 completed the board to give Lin the straight to claim a bounty and a top stack in the field.
