There was an open in early position to 3,700. Action folded to Pat Sweeney in late position who called and both of the blinds came along too. The players were off to a flop four ways.
The 9♣Q♥4♣ flop landed and action checked to the early position player who put out a continuation bet of 6,100. Sweeney and the small blind called and the big blind got out of the way.
The turn brought a board pairing 9♠ and action checked through. The river brought a relative blank in the 2♣ and action checked all the way to Sweeney. He gathered some chips and put out a sizeable bet of 18,000. The small blind folded and the preflop raiser went into the tank. After a few moments he released his cards and Sweeney pulled in a big pot with only one full level left to play before the players bag.
