Johannes Becker

No-Limit Hold'em

Kristopher Tong opened to 70,000 on the button and Johannes Becker three-bet jammed a stack of around 500,000 from the big blind. Tong snap called with a bigger stack.

Johannes Becker: QQ
Kristopher Tong: AJ

Becker was in great shape to double until the flop landed 34A to give Tony a big lead and Tony only improved on the J4 runout to send Becker out in 12th place for $97,209.

"I felt you were winning that hand," Brian Rast commented.

"Me too," replied Tong. "You know why? Because I did the one-chip snap-call."

Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Johannes Becker raised and called a three-bet by Phil Ivey to then discard two versus one and check-call a bet. On the second draw, Becker discarded one while Ivey patted and Becker check-called another bet.

The final draw saw Becker take one again with Ivey patting behind. They checked and Ivey won the pot with the 9x8x6x3x2x.

Marco Johnson then raised from under the gun and he was called by Ivey in the small blind and Ray Dehkharghani came along from the big blind. Each of them discarded two, which Ivey made sure of before he bet. Dehkharghani raised and Johnson tank-folded before Ivey made it three bets and earned a call from Dehkharghani.

Both then patted the final two draws with Ivey betting and Dehkharghani calling. Ivey showed his 7x6x4x3x2x for a number two and raked in another pot.

Tong Takes with a Ten

Livello 19

Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Marco Johnson had just picked up a small double with a scooped pot in stud hi-lo when he was involved in another pot.

Brian Rast raised from under the gun and Johnson called from the small blind before Kristopher Tong came along from the big blind. All three players took two cards on their first draw.

The three players continued in unison with a check and each of them took two cards again. Johnson checked and Tong bet. Rast called and Johnson came along for the third draw as well.

Johnson took one and Tong stood pat before Rast asked for two. All three players checked.

"I'm going to say ten," Rast said to Tong.

Tong nodded and tabled 10x9x6x5x2x to take the pot while Johnson and Rast pitched their losing hands without showing.
