Talal Shakerchi: Ax6x/3xJxAx7x/5x
James Obst: 6x3x/Kx - folded bring-in

Rast drew better on fourth street and bet, which Shakerchi called. Both players appeared to catch good on fifth, but they each in fact paired. Rast bet and Shakerchi called.

Each improved again on sixth, and Shakerchi continued to call bets from Rast.

On seventh street, Shakerchi improved to a seven, while Rast made a six. Rast bet a final time and got one more call, earning a large pot, while Shakerchi continued to fall.

Shakerchi Shorter

Livello 24

Omaha Hi-Lo

After Kristopher Tong opened in the hijack with 5332, James Obst made it two bets in the cutoff with AK42. Talal Shakerchi there made it three on the button with AQ82.

Tong folded, but Obst called to see the KAJ flop. The players checked, and the K on the turn gave Obst kings full of aces. Obst bet and Shakerchi called.

Obst continued betting on the 8 river and after some thought, Shakerchi put a call in front of Obst who would gather that and every other bet from this hand

Shakerchi Hero-Calls at the Wrong Time

Livello 24

Omaha Hi-Lo

Matthew Ashton raised with the AJ76 and Talal Shakerchi three-bet with the AK53 in the small blind. Brian Rast pondered about it with AQ109 in the big blind but folded while Ashton called. On the Q76 flop, Shakerchi checked and Ashton bet for his fellow countryman to call behind.

The J turn saw Shakerchi check-call a bet and he did so again on the J river, albeit very reluctantly with the ace-king high for a pure bluff catcher. Ashton, however, had jacks full of sixes and scooped the pot.
