Day Takes Chip Lead

Livello 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Wissam Gahshan raised to 250,000 with A8 on the button, finding calls from Ronnie Day in the small blind with KJ and Patrick White in the big blind with K8.

Gahshan followed checks from his opponents on the 28K flop with a continuation bet of 325,000. Day and White both called to see the J turn.

Day checked again, with White taking the betting lead sliding out 500,000 chips. Gahshan called, as did Day to the 9 river.

This time all three players checked around, with Day tabling two pair to take down the pot.

Wissam Gahshan opened up the action with a bet under the gun with A5 to 250,000 and it folded to big blind Hunter McClelland.

When he looked down he found KQ and that was reason enough for him to three-bet to 750,000. It didn't take too long for Gahshan to give up on the hand as McClelland collected the chips.

Ronnie Day

In a battle of the blinds, Ronnie Day raised from the small blind to 360,000 and was called by Patrick White to his left.

Day continued for 225,000 on the 673 flop, with White calling to the 4 turn. The action repeated with Day betting 400,000 before both players saw the 9 river.

Day slowed down with a check, calling quickly once White moved all-in with the bigger stack.

Ronnie Day: 99
Patrick White: K8

Day called White's bluff with trip nines, earning the full double thanks to his check on the river.
