One year removed from a rough summer, Daniel Negreanu is fighting his way back to within striking distance in the Player of the Year race — sort of — and he's doing so with large field event success.

At the 2022 World Series of Poker (WSOP), the Poker Hall of Famer lost $1.1 million and was never in contention for Player of the Year. He isn't really in contention yet this year, but he isn't too far off from getting to that point.

Livello 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Matthew Davis raised it to 2,000 from the cutoff. Action folded around to the big blind who put in a three-bet to 3,000. Davis decided on a four-bet and sized up to 8,500. The player in the big blind called and both players saw a flop of 85J.

Lofgren Hangs On To Score Big Double Up

Livello 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

The action was picked up in a pot of close to 9,000 on a board showing 8649. The big blind bet out 6,500 and Michael Lofgren raised it up to 13,000 on the button, which the big blind called.
