When you hold the record for the most World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets, there are perks.
For Phil Hellmuth, whose 16 bracelets (and counting) may never be touched, one of those perks is his own personal break room at Horseshoe Las Vegas. That's a nice benefit especially on 90-minute dinner breaks.
Hellmuth granted PokerNews access to his small but intimate break room, which is in an undisclosed location. "Don't disclose the location. I don't need fans knocking on the door seeking autographs while I'm trying to rest," the Poker Hall of Famer joked.
Out of a field of 172 entries, only around 144 players remain and they have been sent on a scheduled break of 15 minutes. Another two levels of 60 minutes remain to be played for tonight.
In a larger three-way pot to the K♥5♠3♣3♠8♥ river, Anthony Zinno got out of the way and Brad Ruben's bet was called by a third player in the hand. Ruben tabled the A♥9♣8♣3♦ for treys full of eights and that earned it all, since his opponent didn't have a qualifying low.
One hand later, Zinno tangled with Van Law and got out of the way on the Q♦9♥7♥J♦ turn when Law bet the second street in a row.

Tom Koral was all-in after the three-way flop of A♣6♥3♣ before the K♦ turn and 5♦ river completed the board. Brandon Shack-Harris bet and Ilkka Heikkila called as the cards were revealed.
Shack-Harris tabled the K♥K♣5♣3♥ for a set of kings, Heikkila had the A♠5♥3♦2♥ for the nut low. Koral's A♦8♦4♥3♠ for two pair and inferior low earned no portion of the pot and he was eliminated.

On the tail end of a Q♣8♥8♦6♠Q♦ board, Ismael Bojang and Jyri Merivirta had two full bets out in front. Bojang reluctantly checked behind to get shown the 8♣3♦3♣2♣ by the Finn, which he had beat with the A♣8♠7♥2♥ as no low played.

John Monnette put the rest of his chips in on a flop of 10♦J♠2♣ against Andrew Barber in late position and Khamar Xaythavone on the button.
Barber and Xaythavone went heads-up for the side pot, with Barber betting the Q♦ turn and both players checking the 6♠ river.
John Monnette: A♠8♦7♣2♦
Andrew Barber: J♦10♠7♠6♦
Khamar Xaythavone: A♥10♥10♣5♣
No low hand was possible on the 10♦J♠2♣Q♦6♠ board, so Xaythavone would win the hand with a flopped set of tens, eliminating Monnette.
