Aaron Kupin: XxXx/2xJxQx2x/Xx
Jason Sills: XxXx/Ax2x10x6x/Xx
Yuval Bronshtein: XxXx/5x8x9x10x
Kupin got it all in on third street, then watched as Sills closed the door on his tournament life. He left his hole cards face down as he headed for the payout cage.
Terrence Hastoo got his final chips in on third street against Dzmitry Urbanovich. Once seven cards had been pitched to each player, Urbanovich had made an eight-seven, while Hastoo paired twice, leaving him drawing dead before seventh street.
Michael Moncek: Qx7x5x/9x8xAx6x
Jeff Lisandro: 5x4x3x/6xAx10x9x
Dzmitry Urbanovich: 8x2xAx/6x3x8xQx
Michael Moncek was short-stacked when he completed. Jeff Lisandro made it two bets to go and Dzmitry Urbanovich called before Moncek made it three bets to go and was all in. Lisandro and Urbanovich called and began building a side pot.
On fourth street, Lisandro bet and got called by Urbanovich, who took over the betting lead on fifth and did so, getting called by Lisandro.
Regaining the betting lead on sixth, Lisandro check-called a bet and then bet himself on seventh street.
Lisandro showed a six-five to eliminate Moncek and take a sizeable side pot to boost his stack well over a million.
Mickey Doft: 2x4x6x/2x5x9x7x
Kevin Chance: 3x9x10x9xJxKx/Xx
After losing the majority of his remaining stack two hands previously on a very difficult call on seventh street, and facing Mickey Doft's nearly-equally-short stack, Chance was forced all in on third street. He had a particularly rough runout, and walked away without turning over his seventh card, already drawing dead to Doft's 76.
Shortly thereafter, Michele Jeckelmann was eliminated in 21st place.
Hal Rotholz: 9x7xAx/Qx8x6xKx
David "ODB" Baker: AxAx3x/5xJxAx6x
Jeff Lisandro: XxXx/4x4x - folded fourth street
A short-stacked Hal Rotholz defended his bring-in against Jeff Lisandro and David "ODB" Baker, and then after Lisandro paired his four on fourth and Baker bet his jack with the lead, Rotholz raised, folding Lisandro out of the hand.
The players checked fifth street, and despite catching a king on sixth and Baker catching a six, Rotholz called a bet, leaving himself just slightly more than one big bet behind.
On seventh street, Baker bet and Rotholz called. Baker showed a pair of aces and a three in the hole for jack low, while Rotholz had called correctly, making a rough nine on the end.
Hal Rotholz: 6x5x2x/AxAx4xKx
Marco Johnson: XxXxXx/6x2xQxJx
Jeff Lisandro: XxXx/Ax8x10x - folded fifth street
Shortly after, Rotholz was involved in another big hand that went to seventh street.
Picking action up on fifth street, Jeff Lisandro had the betting lead and checked to Rotholz who bet. Marco Johnson raised, and Lisandro opted to fold, leaving the pot heads-up.
On sixth street, Johnson bet and Rotholz called again, needing to hit something on seventh street with a pair and a king up.
Seventh street came and after Johnson checked, Rotholz bet, receiving a call from Johnson to see that Rotholz had made a six-four on the river to take another sizeable pot.
Dave Stann: XxXx/8xKxJx10x/Xx
Adam Owen: XxXx/4xAxQxAx - folded on sixth street
Rafael Concepcion: XxXx/5x8xQx5x/Xx
Dave Stann's short stack was forced all in on third street. The best he could manage after the runout was a jack low, which Concepcion bested with an 87.
