2023 World Series of Poker
Livello: 5
Ante: 100
Bring-In: 200
Completion: 500
Limits: 500-1,000
Colton Blomberg: AxKx5x/4xKx9xAx
Michael Trivett: XxXxXx/6x3x9xJx
Colton Blomberg completed and got a call from Michael Trivett. Trivett bet fourth and fifth streets getting calls each time, then checked on sixth when Blomberg picked up an ace. Blomberg bet and Trivett called.
On seventh, Blomberg bet again, which prompted some thought from Trivett who opted to fold.
Blomberg showed AxKx5x in the hole for two pair and a successful bluff on the end.
"I promised myself, no bluffing today, then I make two pair," said Blomberg, who apparently asked Trivett for coaching earlier at the table. It remains to be seen whether this bluff will impact any potential student-teacher relationship between the two.

Joe Deering: AxKx7x/3xJx2x
Rodney Spriggs: Ax8x4x/2x4xQx7x
Jonathan Luu: XxXx/Jx - folded after the bring in
Spriggs completed and Deering came along. "Do you see what a good man [Deering] is?" asked Allen Kessler. "He puts his cards out in front of the [World Series of Poker logo] circle so we can see them. I want you to take a note of that."
"The cards are hard to see," said a tablemate.
"I ordered the larger ones," said Kessler.
The hand continued with Kessler's larger cards with Deering betting fourth and fifth streets. He only put out a 500 chip on fifth, leading Spriggs to say, "If I was a good player I would raise you." before calling.
Both players checked sixth street, then Deering led out again on seventh. Deering showed king high, and Spriggs breathed a sigh of relief, and put together his eight low. "You tried to snow me!" said Spriggs scooped up the pot.
