Silver Keeps Building

Livello 8 : Blinds 1,500/2,500, 0 ante

Nate Silver raised on the button and was called by Cary Katz in the big blind.

Katz check-called a bet from Silver on the J2J flop and both players checked on the 2 turn.

Katz led out for a bet on the 9 river and Silver called.

"Can you beat that?" Katz joked as he tabled 56. Indeed, Silver could, as he revealed A7 for an ace-high kicker to go along with two pair.

Idema Makes Broadway to Eliminate Opponent

Livello 9 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 0 ante

An under-the-gun player committed the rest of their chips and Daniel Idema put in a three-bet next to act. The rest of the table folded and the cards were shown.

Opponent: QJ
Daniel Idema: KQ

The flop came J103 to give Idema's opponent the lead, but when the 7A rolled off it was the rivered Broadway straight for Idema that scored the pot to send his opponent to the rail.

Katz and Silver Get a Little

Livello 9 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 0 ante

Nate Silver raised on the button and the player in the small blind three-bet. Cary Katz cold-called from the big blind and then Nate Silver made it four bets to go. Both the small blind and Katz called.

Silver bet after being checked to on the Q66 flop and both players called.

It was checked to Silver again on the 8 turn and he bet again. This time only Katz called.

Katz check-called a bet from Silver on the river and Silver showed KQ for queens and sixes. Katz held the KQ for the same hands and they split the pot.

"How did you bet that last one?" Katz said. "Real greedy."
