Low Catches Taylor

Livello 13 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

On the turn of 9843, a player bet 15,000 into the 30,000 pot and was called by Kam Low and Esther Taylor.

The A landed on the river and the action checked to Taylor as she piled up a bet of 68,000 and pushed it across the line.

The third player in the hand quickly check-folded and the action was back on Low. He took some time, counting out exactly 68,000 and eyeing his stack of about 30,000 behind. After another minute he made the call.

Taylor tabled QJ105 for a missed straight draw and Low was awarded the pot as he tabled AQJ9 for two pair.

Michael Moncek: 689J

The board came down Ace-high and closed the door on everything but one out when Moncek made trip sixes on the turn. The river made him a boat but it wasn't enough to beat the aces full of Cohen.

Moncek recently won his second bracelet in the $5,000 NLH/PLO mix and in his post-win interview he made mention that many in the field were more skilled than him in this particular game.

Kings Good for England

Livello 13 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

Dario Sammartino raised to 7,000 in early position and Jonathan England called next to act, as did the player on his left and the small blind.

The small blind checked smoke before the J66 fell, and all three players checked behind.

The 4 fell on the turn and the small blind led out for 10,000 and both England and the player on his left called.

The Q completed the board and all three players quickly knuckled the table before England showed AKK7 for kings and sixes and both other players pushed their hands into the muck.

Fields Pot-Sized River Bet Takes it Down

Livello 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Three players limped before the 1053 flop and Eric Fields led out for 5,000. Only the button made the cutoff made the call.

The A hit the turn and Fields continued for 17,000 which was called after only a couple of seconds.

When the K landed on the river, Fields cut out a pot-sized bet of 52,000 and dropped it across the line. The player in the cutoff went deep into the tank, and after a few minutes he said, "It's a coin-flip for me."

Another 30 seconds went by before he tossed his cards into the muck.

"Bluff," Called out table mate Ryan Leng as Fields was dragging the pot.
