Table Cheered When Player Sent Packing

As told to PokerNews after the fact a fellow in first position put in the minimum raise and Greg Tetreault reraised to 1,600 and according to the table the fellow made a big stink and insisted that the raise be the proper 3,200 and Tetreault obliged.

The flop came all low cards and a 10x came on the turn and the first position player bet and Tetreault reraised and the initial player pushed all his chips in the pot and Tetreault called.

First Position: 10x7x
Greg Tetreault: JxJx

A blank came on the river and the player proceeded to tell the dealer a series of complaints and when he left, the table referred to him as "the mean player".

Sang Lee retold a story about a hand where he doubled his stack. The player under the gun, John Corning raised preflop and Lee called on the button.

The flop came down 9x9xKx and Corning bet and Lee raised and Corning moved all in and Lee called and discovered he was behind.

Both players had trips but Lee had the inferior kicker heading to the turn which was the 6x and the river was a blank leaving Lee with the full house and the win.

Porto Doubles Up

Facing a bet of 2,100 from a player in middle position on a J105 flop, Joe Porto called from the hijack and was joined by the button.

The turn came 6 and action was checked to Porto. He bet 10,000 and was called by the button. The river brought the K, and Porto moved all in for his last 10,500. His opponent debated for about a minute before making the call.

"Trips," said Porto, turning over 66. His opponent showed AJ as he mucked.
