Lindell Puts in the Four Bet
Thomas Lindell opened to 26,000 from under the gun and action folded to John Ruddy in the cutoff who put in the cold three bet to 81,000. The remaining players folded and action was back on Lindell. He took his time, did some accounting of his own chips, and got a count of Ruddy's. He eventually found out he had Ruddy covered. After about two minutes in the tank, Lindell announces "all in" and puts out a pile of chips. Lindell faded the snap call.
Ruddy stayed composed. He went in the tank for over three minutes and clearly had a very tough decision on his hands. After careful consideration he shook his head, tapped the table, and folded Q♥Q♦ face up.
Lindell was sure to be happy to have won the pot but immediately gave Ruddy the credit he deserved and said "hell of a fold" as he turned over K♣K♠.
Lindell dragged a nice pot without having to see a runout and Ruddy kept his tournament alive through sheer discipline.
