The river came the 9♥ as the small blind led out for 30,000. A call was made by the late position player, as the small blind showed 2♠2♥3♠3♣ for turned quads.
Shaun Deeb recounted a hand that had just occurred at his table, describing it as both newsworthy and "Deeb-approved".
Ken Zobrist opened to 8,000 from the button and Robert Gussoni defended his big blind.
Gussoni checked on the 2♣5♠6♣ flop and called a 26,000 pot bet from Zobrist. Both players checked the 9♣ turn and Q♣ river.
"I have all the pairs" Zobrist reportedly said, tabling 2x5x6x9x for two-pair with sixes and nines. Zobrist showed two aces and looked like he was about to concede the pot before taking a closer look at his other two hole cards. Zobrist tabled AxAxQx9x for a higher two-pair on the river to take down the pot.
Action was picked up on the turn with the board showing 6♠8♥5♥3♥. Koray Aldemir checked from out of position and Rafael Rodriguez checked behind.
Aldemir bet 21,000 on the 4♦ river and Rodriguez made the call. Aldemir showed 10♣9♣9♥5♠ for a pair of nines while Rodriguez showed 7♠9♠J♦6♦ for a straight to take down the pot.
A player in mid position raised, only to be reraised by Dan Zack.
The flop came 5♥3♠3♦. Zack bet 29,000 and received a call.
The turn was the 2♦ and both players checked.
The river came 5♠ and again the action was checked. Zack showed Q♠Q♣A♠7♣ for two pair and his adversary mucked. Zack pulled in some more chips and remains one of the tournament leaders.
Action starts from the early position player with raise to 8,000. Four callers join as Matt Lewell jams all in for 54,000 in the big blind. Jarrod Lucero opts to join as he is all in for 24,000 with an additional player calling.
