Aggression Pays Off for Alleman

Livello 3 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

A player in early position opened to 1,000 and received three callers from the Cutoff, Adam Alleman on the button and a player in the small blind.

The small blind checked the 5Q9 flop and the early position player bet again for 2,000. The player in the cut off made the call. Alleman said "pot" and placed a bet of 12,600 which was enough to get the fold from all three of his opponents and scoop a decent pot without having to go to showdown.

Rees Accumulating Chips Early

Livello 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

A player in early position limped in and a player in middle position raised to 600. David Rees called in the small blind and the early position limper called as well.

Action was three-way on the 3J5 flop. Rees bet 2,000 and received only one call from the player in middle position.

Rees fired again on the 9 turn, this time for 6,000 and it was enough to force a fold from his opponent.

Rees is off to a good start with just over three times the starting stack before the end of level two.
