Darren Barnes opened to 1,800 before Shaun Colquhoun three-bet to 4,000. The action folded back around to Barnes as he jammed the rest of his 14,500 into the middle. Colquhoun quickly called.
Darren Barnes: K♦K♠
Shaun Colquhoun: A♥A♣
Barnes had run into the worst possible scenario until the dealer fanned a flop of K♣Q♦J♥, giving him top set.
Colquhoun was still drawing live though with his gutshot straight draw and overpair, however, the K♥ turn gave Barnes quad kings to seal the deal and the 3♠ river was just a formality.

The flop was K♥10♦J♦ and the small blind shoved in his stack of 30,000. Lily Kiletto was in middle position and thought for a minute before reluctantly folding. Dustin Myo called.
Before the cards were turned over Kiletto stated, "I'm going to regret this fold."
Small Blind: A♦2♦
Dustin Myo: K♠K♣
The turn was the 6♥ and the river was the 7♣ and the kings prevailed.
Kiletto stated that she was also on a flush draw.
Elsewhere Marsha Wolak was holding her own with 55,000 in chips.

Greg Raymer was in the small blind on the river in a three-way pot. Both the flop and turn had checked through.
The board read 4♥6♦A♣K♥6♣ and Raymer over-bet the pot to the tune of 10,000. The player in late position called and the player on the button folded saying, "If you didn't call, I was going to." and showed the Q♥Q♦.
Raymer chirped, "That saved you!" and tabled the A♦A♥ for a flopped top set, rivered full house, and a decent pot.

Anthony Vitale and Deididien Gardel clashed in a classic big-pocket-pair showdown after the break.
Vitale raised to 4,500 in late position and action folded to Gardel, who was in the small blind, and responded with a three-bet to 18,300. Vitale pondered the situation and asked to see Gardel’s chip stack. Gardel moved his hands aside while Vitale looked.
Seconds went by before Vitale asked a second time to see his opponent’s chip stack. After mulling the situation, Vitale made the call.
The dealer placed 5♦4♦8♦ on the board. Gardel moved all in and Vitale quickly made the call.
Gardel: K♥K♠
Vitale: J♥J♠
Vitale’s situation appeared bleak after 6♦ hit the turn, but the K♦ on the river gave both players a flush. And, of course, a chopped pot.
“Are you putting down I sucked out?” Vitale jokingly told PokerNews as the dealer split the pot and pushed a half to both players.

On a board reading, 10♠9♠A♦Q♠J♠, Wesley Cannon placed a bet for 10,500. His opponent thought shortly and opted to just call. Cannon then turned over the K♠J♣ and his opponent gave a knowing nod and tabled A♠Q♣.
It took some of the other players at the table a moment to realize Cannon had the straight flush and he was pushed the pot.

Three players saw a flop of 7♠4♠2♦, creating a pot of about 20,000. Gilberto Amaral was first to act and jammed his 11,200 into the middle, forcing the opponent on his left to instantly fold.
The third player in the hand, however, took a bit longer as he said, "You have aces don't you?" Amaral nodded his head yes and his opponent made the call.
Gilberto Amaral: A♥A♠
Opponent: K♠K♥
It was a classic preflop cooler and Amaral was able to hold with his aces as the board completed with the 6♥ on the turn and the 2♥ on the river.
