Johnson Chips Up in Showdown

Livello 12
Marco Johnson
Marco Johnson

Limit Omaha High Only

Three ways to the A95J turn, Frank Crivello checked out of the small blind and Marco Johnson bet out of the big blind. Sampo Ryynanen called from under the gun, as did Crivello. On the 3 river, Crivello check-folded to a bet by Johnson and a call by Ryynanen with the former showing the K543 for the nut flush.

Seiver Beats Zinno in Showdown

Livello 12

No-Limit Hold'em

In a rather small pot to the 109576 river, Anthony Zinno bet 16,000 out of the small blind. That was slightly less than the pot and Scott Seiver called after brief consideration.

"You win," Zinno said without disclosing his hand yet. Seiver tabled his J9 and Zinno mucked.

Israelashvili Eliminated by Kassela and Ryynanen

Livello 12

Stud Hi-Lo Regular

Roland Israelashvili: K87 / 92A9
Frank Kassela: A54 / 3AJ5
Sampo Ryynanen: K86 / 725K

On fifth street, Sampo Ryynanen bet and Roland Israelashvili moved all-in for 16,500, which Frank Kassela called with the words "whatever it is". Ryynanen then reraised to 26,500 and Kassela called that, too. Kassela proceeded to check-call twice and earned the high portion with aces up while Ryynanen had the low to win the other half, sending Israelashvili to the rail.

Robert Wells open-jammed a stack of less than 10,000 from the small blind and John Racener called in the big blind.

Paur Survives Against Engel

Livello 13

Razz

Taylor Paur: 10x5x / 2x6xJx7x / 4x
Dutch Boyd: XxXx / 7xAx8x8x folded on sixth
Ari Engel: 10x3x / 5x7x3xXx / Ax

Matthew Schreiber had been eliminated in the previous level and Jeff Madsen survived one all-in showdown before bowing out soon after.

There was one further all-in and call, which came as the result of three-way action in Razz. Ari Engel bet the superior board and Taylor Paur was all-in for 3,500 on fourth street. Dutch Boyd called, Engel then asked the floor if he could raise or just call since the limits were 6,000-12,000. The raise was confirmed and Engel made it 9,500, Boyd called.

Engel bet fifth to earn a reluctant call by Boyd, who then snap-folded on sixth when he paired up.

Engel confidently announced a strong hand only to then realise that he had mis-read the cards and paired his trey. Paur escaped with a peeled four as final card.

Gorodinsky Busts Wells, Gets Info from Robl

Livello 13
Mike Gorodinsky
Mike Gorodinsky

Big O

Robert Wells opened to 10,500 on the button and Mike Gorodinsky defended his big blind. Gorodinsky then led out on the flop of 102J and Wells called off for his tournament life.

Robert Wells: AAQ75
Mike Gorodinsky: 1010543

Gorodinsky had taken the lead with a set and the runout of JK improved him to a full house to mark the elimination of Wells.

"You crack aces with that hand?" laughed Chad Eveslage.

After the hand, it was Gorodinsky's turn to choose a game and he attempted to get some information out of his table mates before making a decision.

"Andrew, do you play any stud games?" he asked Andrew Robl as the table broke into laughter.

"No comment," said Robl.

Gorodinsky, who chose Stud 8 or Better, went on to compliment Robl's play during PokerGO's No Gamble No Future $1 million buy-in cash game earlier this year where he profited $1.8 million.

"Everything went my way that day," reflected Robl.

Short Stack Double for Siegel

Livello 13
Jordan Siegel
Jordan Siegel

Stud 8 or Better

Jordan Siegel: 88 / J74A / J
Andrew Robl: J4 / 9Q4J / K

Jordan Siegel completed when folded to and Andrew Robl was the only player behind. Fourth street brought a bet and call before Siegel was all-in for 7,500 on fifth street. Robl failed to catch anything and had no low either, allowing Siegel the full double.

In the meanwhile, Matthew Woodward was eliminated and that brought the field down to the final six tables.

Zucker Chops With Yu

Livello 13

Badeucey

Prior to the final draw, Jordan Zucker check-called a bet and took one new card while Ben Yu patted. Zucker then bet and Yu called to see his opponent announce an eight-eight, flipping over 5 / 8643. That earned one portion of the pot as Yu's 10 / 7632 contained the superior Seven-Dugi.
