Poker Legend Billy Baxter Beat At His Own Game
Billy Baxter has long been considered the king of 2-7 Draw Lowball. Dating back to 1975, Baxter has won five bracelets in the game and is still a regular high stakes cash player. But, today was not the day he won his 8th bracelet (6th in 2-7) as he was knocked out by our now massive chip leader George "Jorj95" Lind III.
We don't know how the pre-draw action went down, but Baxter was all in for his last 13,000 and Lind had made the call. Baxter showed , a premium hand in 2-7, but it couldn't beat the of Lind and Baxter hit the rail.
After that hand Lind is now up to 103,000 which is good for a huge chip lead at this point in the tournament.
