2011 World Series of Poker
It's final-table time in the Deuce to Seven No-Limit Single Draw, and it's a cracking final table we have today. Englishman Matt Perrins, who had never played the game until two days ago, is the chip leader with 293,000 and is likely to be backed by a rowdy bunch of Brits on the rail.
Elsewhere, Bernard Lee, known from "Inside Deal", is making his first-ever WSOP final table and sits in second place. Chris Bjorin, with a list of cashes that goes on forever, is making a play for his third bracelet and his first in 15 years. Josh Brikis, who has a blog at PokerNews, is making his third final table, while Robin Rightmire is poised to make his biggest ever cash - if he can finish sixth or higher. Thomas Fuller also has a long list of cashes, his best being a fourth place at EPT Baden. He also managed a fourth place in a $1,500 NL Shootout back in 2007.
Finally, the short stack is Team PokerStars Pro Jason Mercier, who led the way for most of the latter half of yesterday before a very bad last hour knocked him from chip leader to the short stack. He's searching for his second bracelet and looking to make a big comeback on this table.
