Despite having doubled up in one of the first hands of the day, overall short stack Paul Schumer has bowed out in 15th place.
Earlier, Schumer committed his last 26,000 chips into the middle before the flop with , ahead of Bryan Pimlott's , pairing his ace on the flop to double up.
A short time later though, Schumer's fate was sealed. The action folded around to Scott Clements who came in with a raise and then Schumer reraised all-in for just 7,000 more. Bill Davis called from late position, as did Clements before they checked down the board of .
Davis showed , which was good against the of Clements and the of Schumer. Schumer collects $9,467. Not bad for 15 minutes' work in one day!
The remaining 15 players have taken their seats and unbagged their chips, and after a brief delay from the bracelet presentations in the Pavillion Room, the action is now underway!
