Folding On the Turn-er
Livello 8
: 400/800, 100 ante
A player in middle position raised to 1,800, and John Turner (cutoff) and the button both called. The player in the small blind reraised to 5,600, though, folding the initial raiser but keeping the other two around for the flop.
It came , and the small blind bet 7,500. Now Turner was the only caller, and the two of them were heads-up to the turn. It put trips on board, and it drew an all-in shove for 32,500 from the small blind. Turner would spend at least three minutes in the tank, but he eventually surrendered to slip back to about 118,000.
