Hand #206: Heinz Takes back the Lead

Livello 41 : 800,000/1,600,000, 200,000 ante
Pius Heinz
Pius Heinz

Pius Heinz started the hand with the button. He raised to 3.4 million and Martin Staszko called to see the {Q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop. Staszko checked, Heinz bet 3.75 million and Staszko called.

The {A-Hearts} landed on the turn and Staszko checked. Heinz bet 8.6 million. Staszko made the call to see the final community card.

The river was the {3-Diamonds} and Staszko checked his option. Heinz sat riffling his chips for a few moments and then reached into his stack. He maneuvered some chips around as he decided on how much he wanted to wager. Eventually, Heinz slid out a couple stacks worth 16.8 million. Staszko gave it some thought, but then folded and Heinz's railbirds erupted in cheers.

Hand #205: Pius Heinz

Livello 41 : 800,000/1,600,000, 200,000 ante

Martin Staszko had the button, and he limped in for the minimum. Pius Heinz checked, and they took a {6-Clubs} {2-Hearts} {7-Clubs} flop. Heinz check-called a bet of 2.2 million there, and he took a long while before checking the {9-Diamonds} turn. Staszko checked it back, and the {4-Spades} came on the river. Heinz checked one last time, and Staszko checked it back.

The {Q-Hearts} {2-Clubs} was the best hand, and it was shown down by Pius Heinz, giving him the pot.

Hand #203: Martin Staszko

Livello 41 : 800,000/1,600,000, 200,000 ante

Martin Staszko had the button, and he completed for the minimum. Pius Heinz checked, and they took a friendly {2-Clubs} {Q-Spades} {9-Hearts} flop. Heinz led out with 2 million, Staszko called, and the {K-Spades} landed on the turn. Heinz loaded up the gun and fired again -- 4.5 million this time. Staszko flatted again, and the river brought the {7-Spades}. And a long pause. Heinz spent maybe 90 seconds or so plotting his next action, and he decided -- not surprisingly -- to bet it again. He slid out another 14.25 million -- nearly a full-pot bet.

It was another 90 seconds or so before the call came, and Heinz showed up {7-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} for two pair. It was second-best. Staszko waited to see, then flipped up his {Q-Hearts} {7-Clubs} to take the pot.

With it comes the chip lead once again, and we've got ourselves a battle here.

Hand #202: Martin Staszko

Livello 41 : 800,000/1,600,000, 200,000 ante

Pius Heinz started the hand with the button. He min-raised to 3.2 million and Martin Staszko made the call.

The flop came down {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Spades} and Staszko check-called a bet of 3.5 million from Heinz before the dealer placed the {A-Hearts} on the turn. Both players checked.

The river was the {A-Clubs}. Staszko bet 6.25 million. Heinz folded after a minute and Staszko won the pot.
