Paul Volpe was our big overnight chip leader coming into the combined Day 2 with 124,500, but after some big lost pots early on in the day he has been grinding a short to medium stack for the last five or six hours. He hung around for quite a while, but has now hit the rail.
A player in middle position raised it up to 12,500 and Volpe moved all in from the cutoff for 114,500. The middle position player made the call and showed vs. the
of Volpe. The board ran out
and Volpe's hand didn't get it done. This marks his fifth cash of the series, but the online superstar has fallen short of the final table every time. That being said, he will certainly be a name to watch come Main Event time.

A player in the cutoff raised it up to 16,000 and Matt LaGarde from the big blind re-raised to 50,000. The cutoff called the bet and they saw a flop. Legarde bet out for 180,000 and the cutoff folded to the big bet. LaGarde, who was one of our early chip leaders, is slowly building his stack back up here at the end of the day.

Kevin Williams open pushed all in from late position for about 85,000 and was called by a player in the big blind.

The flop came down to give Williams no help, and the turn
locked up his fate and sent him to the rail.
Each elimination is becoming more and more important now that we have less than 100 players left. With the rest of this level and one more to play after that, we are predicting a Day 3 field of around 45 players.

After an initial open to 13,500, Max Lykov three-bet to 28,000 only for the button to four-bet to 111,000. The initial raiser folded and Lykov tanked for a couple of minute before tapping the table and folding face up. The button returned the favour, showing him
