MacPhee's Aggression Pays Off
We arrived at the table to see the flop of laying in the middle of the table and three wagers made. The first player had bet 175 and the next player raised to 375. Kevin MacPhee was the third player and he reraised to 1,125. Action fell back on the first player and he thought for a tiny bit and then released his hand. The second player took just about as much time, maybe a tad bit longer, and then reraised all in. MacPhee didn't hesitate to get the rest of his money in and put himself at risk early.

The turn brought the , which put MacPhee behind in the hand, but it did bring in a club to give him a flush draw. The river completed that draw when the fell and MacPhee made his flush. His opponent's two pair went down in flames. MacPhee was all in for 3,475 and has moved to just about 8,000.
