The Most Misunderstood Game on the Planet

Phil Hellmuth was down to just 2,000 chips when the big blind (400) reached him, cutting his stack to 1,600. Robert Mizrachi opened with a raise from middle position, and it folded back to Hellmuth who checked his cards. He then looked up addressed us as we stood by the table noting the action.
"If I fold this hand heads up and you put it on the internet," he said, "there will be fireworks." He then did just that, showing three cards -- 
-- then declaring the fourth was the 
. "I just want to blow their minds," he added.
The table was reacting to the fold with laughter, but Hellmuth was undeterred. "This is the most misunderstood event on the planet," he said. "There are just six players who understand that fold. Mikey "the Mouth" [Matusow] is one of them. The six best PLO/8 players..."
"And they're all broke," said Mizrachi, provoking more chuckles.
Hellmuth is now sitting with just 1,000.
