Playing the Role of Poker Player
We've got a bunch of notable French people French actress Alice Taglioni is with us in our field today, and we're not complaining one bit about that. Taglioni is best known for her 2006 award-winning work in The Valet, and she also played a small role in the latest remake of The Pink Panther. And who could forget Grande école and Mensonges et trahisons et plus si affinités..., both from 2004!
In any event, we stumbled on Taglioni as she was involved in a multi-way pot.
The 
flop was out on board when we walked up to see Taglioni betting 250. Three opponents folded, but Sam Stein flatted in position. Taglioni bet another 250 on the 
turn, and Stein called again to see the 
fill out the board. Taglioni bet 500 now, and Stein flicked out two yellow chips for a raise. It sounded like he may have announced, "Fifteen hundred," but we can't be sure. Either way, it was too much for Taglioni to call. She mucked, and she's about half of her first 5,000-chip bullet.
