Akkari Out-Kicked

Livello 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Andre Akkari made it 125,000 to go from the button and was called by Jacob Naquin. The flop fell {J-Clubs}{4-Spades}{9-Diamonds} and both players decided to see a fourth card for free. The turn came {10-Hearts} causing Naquin to check and Akkari to bet out 175,000. Naquin made the call and they both saw the {2-Hearts} on the river.

Naquin checked once again and Akkari bet out 300,000 and Naquin quickly made the call.

Akkari flipped up {J-Clubs}{8-Hearts} for a pair of jacks, but was distraught to find Naquin show {Q-Clubs}{J-Spades} for a higher kicker.

Subtitles Please?

Livello 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

It seems as though the two-handed verbal war may have a third party to it as the Brazilian rail occasionally spurts into a Brazilian chant.

On the most recent execution of said chant, a player on the opposing side of the Thunder-Dome screamed, "Subtitles!"

We at PokerNews think it wouldn't be such a bad idea as we would like to know what is making Andre Akkari chuckle every time his rail bellows out a chant.

Raise. Three-Bet. Fold.

Livello 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Jacob Naquin opened his button to 135,000 only to have Matthew Carmody three-bet to 400,000 from the small blind.

Naquin asked for a count on Carmody's stack, and after he had been informed of an approximate count he returned to deliberation.

Eventually Naquin decided to kick his cards to the muck to see the pot pushed to Carmody.

Naquin thought for a while before sending his cards into the muck.
