Scott Sitron opened with an under the gun raise only to have Matthew Carmody three-bet the button to 140,000. Once the blinds passed and the action passed back to Sitron, he four-bet to an additional 260,000.
Carmody paused before making the call as the dealer spread a flop as Sitron fired a continuation-bet of 500,000. Carmody moved all in, and with only 520,000 remaining, Sitron made a committed call.

With Sitron drawing dead to a runner-runner wheel or kings, the on the turn completed one of his backdoor draws. Unfortunately for Sitron, the river would land the to end his tournament in 5th place, and as he collected $156,090 for his efforts, Carmody soared to 7,450,000 in chips.
Action opened with Jacob Naquin making it 70,000. Matthew Carmody called from the button and Andre Akkari got out of the way from the small blind. Nachman Berlin moved all in from the big blind and both players mucked their cards, allowing Berlin to pick up the pot.
Jacob Naquin opened his button to 85,000 only to have Andre Akkari three-bet the big blind to 210,000.
Naquini contemplated his options for several moments before making it 410,000 to go. Akkari paused, then kicked his cards to the muck to relinquish the pot to Naquin.
Jacob Naquin raised to 85,000 and Matthew Carmody got out of the way. Andre Akkari made it 210,000 and Naquin made the call.
The flop came and Akkari tossed out 275,000. Naquin folded and Akkari scooped the pot while the crowd went absolutely insane. A series of chants were yelled that could be heard through the Amazon Room and beyond. Afterwards, the crowd did an ever classic wave, and continued to cheer for Andre Akkari.
Matthew Carmody raised to 130,000 from the small blind and Andre Akkari made the call from the big. The two saw a flop and both checked. The turn was and Carmody checked once more. Akkari bet out 175,000 to find Carmody make it 350,000 total. Akkari made the call and the turned.
It was at this point that Carmody announced all in and Akkari went into the tank. Eventually Akkari folded his hand and Carmody scooped the pot.
