Livello 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Ryan Olisar raised to 6,500 preflop and was reraised by Mohsen Tayfeh to 20,000. Olisar moved allin and Tayfeh called.

Olisar: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Tayfeh: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

The board ran out {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and Olisar was sent packing.

Tayfeh now sits with around 345,000 in chips.

Hamilton Out

Livello 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Lisa Hamilton was severely short-stacked, and got the remainder of her 40,000-chip stack in the middle against Martins Adeniya. Hamilton's {a-Clubs}{10-Spades} was in great shape against Adeniya's {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}, but Adeniya flopped a flush draw, then turned it, eliminating her from the tournament.

Jakattack

Faraz Jaka opened to 5,500, and Charles Brizius moved all in for just under 40,000. Jaka tank-called, and was dominated.

Jaka: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Brizius: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

The flop came down all diamonds {6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}, giving Jaka a diamond flush draw. The turn was indeed a diamond - the {7-Diamonds} to be exact - and Brizius was drawing dead. The river was the {j-Diamonds} to give both players a flush, but Jaka's {q-Diamonds} played.

"Wow," Brizius sighed. "That's how you do it."

Jaka said nothing, rather he stacked his newfound chips and got ready for the next hand.

Medic Eliminated

Livello 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

We caught action preflop when Daniel Alaei raised to 13,000 from the small blind. Nenad Medic moved all in from middle position for around 40,000 and Wesley Pantling moved all in from the button for over 200,000. Alaei folded.

Medic: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Pantling: {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

The board ran out {j-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} to send Medic to the rail.

Pantling now sits with around 300,000 in chips.

Aces Cracked

"F***!"

That's what we heard from Table 369, prompting us to walk over and inspect the scene. When we arrived, the board read {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{k-Spades}, {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} was laying in front of Dylan Wilkerson, and {j-Clubs}{10-Hearts} was in front of Peter Gilmore.

Wilkerson looked crushed, pacing back and forth as his stack was counted down. He eventually received the bad news - he was eliminated - and grabbed his ticket before leaving the Purple Section of the Amazon Room.

Bevand Befuddles Hellmuth

Livello 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

There was about 8,000 in the middle and the board read {4-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}. Manuel Bevand, in the cutoff, pushed out a bet of 6,500, and Phil Hellmuth, on the button, quickly called. The turn brought the {5-Diamonds} and another bet from Bevand, for 14,000 this time. Hellmuth again wasted little time calling.

The river brought the {8-Hearts}. Bevand hesitated, then announced he was all in. Hellmuth exhaled loudly, rechecked his cards, then looked at Bevand. He then restacked his chips, seeing that they totaled a little over 50,000. Finally he folded, muttering as he did.

Bevand now has 235,000.

First Win Ever

Jesse Cohen open-shoved his last 20,400 from early position, Matt Jarvis called in middle position, and Brendon Rubie isolated from the blinds. Jarvis released, and the hands were opened.

Cohen: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Rubie: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

Cohen was in a world of hurt, until the flop came down {j-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}, giving him trips. The turn and river came {6-Hearts}, {8-Spades} respectively, and Cohen tripled up.

"I think that's the first hand I've ever beaten you in," Cohen said to Rubie after the hand. "Live or online."
