Buchanan and Le Chop Up Seidel

Omaha-8

From middle position, Tuan Le limped in. Erik Seidel was in the hijack seat and raised before Shawn Buchanan reraised from the cutoff seat. Action folded back around to Le and he called. Seidel also called and it was three-handed play to the flop.

The first three community cards were the {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{7-Spades}. Le and Seidel checked to Buchanan and he bet. Le and Seidel both made the call.

The {8-Hearts} fell on the turn, which meant the hand was now eligible for a low half of the pot. Le bet, Seidel called and Buchanan raised. Le and Seidel both called.

The {6-Diamonds} completed the board on the river and Le and Seidel checked. Buchanan bet and both of his opponents called one final time.

Buchanan showed the {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, Le tabled the {9-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and Seidel mucked. Buchanan won the high half of the pot while Le scooped the low half.

Some Hands with Tuan Le

Hold'em

Tuan Le opened to 1,2000 and Daniel Alaei made the call to see a {A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop fall. Le fired out a 600-chip continuation-bet to force a fold from Alaei.

Two hands later, Le defended his big blind following a Shawn Buchanan raise as the dealer dropped a {3-Hearts}{5-Spades}{K-Hearts} flop. Le checked and Buchanan bet out 600 only to have Le make it 1,200. Buchanan called, but then folded when Le led for 1,200 on the {K-Spades}.

The very next hand Le opened his small blind to 1,200 and Erik Seidel defended his big. The {Q-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop saw Le check-fold to Seidel's bet of 600, but still kept his stack hovering around the 41,000-chip mark.
