Richard Brodie raised in the hijack, and it folded around to Cathleen Tran. She peeked at her cards, and immediately put in a raise. Brodie put her all in, and she called.

Marwan Abdelal raised from middle position and Brock Parker who’s been feeling under the weather all day called from the big blind. On the flop, Parker check-called Abdelal’s bet. The action heated up when the hit the turn and Parker checked again. Abdelal bet and was met with a check-raise from Parker. Abdelal re-raised and Parker made it four-bets. Abdelal called and Parker moved all in on the river. Abdelal made the call and Parker showed for trips. Abdelal turned over for a full house on the turn however which eliminated Parker in pretty brutal fashion.

Michael Schneider raised on the button and Cathleen Tran re-raised from the small blind leaving herself with only 200 behind. Schneider put her all in and Tran made the trivial call.

No more then five minutes after knocking out Chau Giang, Matthew Gallin has claimed another victim, this time being Dan Kelly. The two got in a raising war preflop that saw Kelly get his last 34,000 in. The cards were flipped up, and it was a coinflip for Kelly's life.

Chau Giang has just been eliminated from the tournament five spots from the money. We missed the hand, but the man who did the deed, Matthew Gallin, was kind enough to give us a quick rundown of the hand. He said that after Dan Kelly raised, Chau Giang three bet, before Gallin four bet with . Kelly folded, but Giang called. The flop came out and Giang got the rest of his money in. He showed , and Gallin needed to improve. The turn came a but the river brought a , and Gallin scored the knockout.
Daniel Idema raised from middle position and both blinds called in Cathleen Tran and Justin Smith. It was checked to Idema who bet on the flop and Tran called leaving herself not much behind. Smith put in a raise and Idema three-bet which got Tran out of the way but Smith stuck around. Smith check-called the rest of the way on the turn and river and Idema showed . Smith mucked and said that he had hoped another king would have hit indicating that he must have had a worse king and wanted Idema’s kicker to be counterfeited. In any case, Tran was crippled, Smith took a hit and Idema was the first to crack the half-million mark.

Tam Hang raised preflop and Dan Kelly was the only caller in the big blind. The flop came out , and Kelly check raised when Hang bet. Hang made the call, and they saw the hit the turn. Kelly bet, and Hang called. The river brought the , putting four cards to a straight out there. Kelly bet again, but Hang splashed out a raise.
