Limped Pot Results in Baumstein Win

Livello 27 : 60,000/120,000, 15,000 ante

Scott Baumstein limped the small blind and Jeffrey Gross checked his option to see a {4-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} flop fall.

Both players checked, and when the {4-Diamonds} landed on the turn, Baumstein led for 150,000 with Gross making the call as the {3-Spades} completed the board on the river.

Baumstein fired another shell; this time amounting to 225,000 which was enough to force a fold from Gross.

"I'll use MY one time!"

Mark Radoja
Mark Radoja

Earlier in the tournament when Scott Baumstein's tournament life was at stake he said "I'll use my 'one time'!" and was able to drill a deuce on the turn to keep himself alive. This time, Mark Radoja got all of his money in preflop against Nicolas Fierrogottner and the quote seemed to surface again.

Fierrogottner: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Radoja: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

The flop came {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{3-Clubs}, coming up air for Radoja. "Okay, okay. I'll use MY one time!" yelled Radoja. The deck apparently didn't hear him because the {8-Hearts} fell on the turn, leaving Radoja with six outs going to the river. His cheering section by the main stage was yelling like crazy, shouting for aces and kings.

"Come on! Give me an ace! Ace! One time!" yelled Radoja. It seems that on this street the deck was willing to comply as the {A-Clubs} peeled off and Radoja and company went into a frenzy of celebration. He ran toward the rail and embraced his supporters while blaring out shouts of joy.

Radoja is now our tournament chip leader.

Junglen Folds

Livello 27 : 60,000/120,000, 15,000 ante

Adam Junglen opened to 240,000 from the button and Scott Baumstein made the call from the big blind before checking the {3-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} flop.

Junglen fired out 300,000 only to have Baumstein check-raise to 700,000 to force Junglen's cards into the muck.

Baumstein Doubles

Livello 26 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
"One time!"
"One time!"

Scott Baumstein has been sitting quiet the past couple of levels, seemingly unable to find a hand worthy of getting involved with. On the last hand before the break, he shoved all in preflop from the cutoff and was called by Adam Junglen from the big blind.

Junglen: {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}
Baumstein: {A-Spades}{2-Diamonds}

The flop fell {7-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and Baumstein was still behind. Luckily for him, he was able to take the lad when the {2-Hearts} struck the turn. The {Q-Diamonds} fell on the river and Baumstein was able to double up and is now right back in the fight.
