Atkins Gets There
With action folded around to the button, Jason Somerville raised to 40,000 before Travis Atkins raised to 80,000 from the small blind. After asking for a count of Atkins chips (he had 800,000 to start the hand), Somerville made the call.

. Once again Atkins bet, this time 150,000. Again, Somerville made the call. The river was the 
and after some thought, Atkins checked, as did Somerville. Atkins immediately flipped over 
and started walking away from the table. It was tough to tell if he was mad that Somerville didn't bet or relieved that the river gave him the 650,000 chip pot that he likely wouldn't have won otherwise. Either way, he has now crossed the million chip mark while Somerville falls below it.
