Razavian the Razz Man
Razz:
We caught up on a hand of razz as Parviz Razavian and an opponent played a heads-up pot.
Razavian: (X)(X) -
Opponent: (X)(X) -
The opponent raised on third street, making it 2,000 to go and the short-stacked Razavian made the call. On fourth and fifth streets his opponent led out for 4,000 chips and Razavian came along. After sixth street was distributed it was Razavian's turn to lead out for 4,000 and his opponent's turn to flat call.
With only 2,300 left, Razavian went all in in the dark and after squeezing his down card, his opponent made the crying call. Razavian tabled the for an A-2-4-6-7 low and took the pot down, more than doubling up in the process.
