Just two days remain in the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas, and today is shaping up to be a big one as Day 6 of the $10,000 WPT World Championship will see the final 16 players from a 3,835-entry field play down to a final table of six.
All of those players are guaranteed $291,700 in prize money, and some of the recognizable names still in the field include Dan Sepiol, Artur Martirosian, Andrew Lichtenberger, Chris Moorman, and chip leader Ben Jacobs.
Meanwhile, the Day 3 finale of the $1,000,000 WPT Big One for One Drop will see the final six players from the 17-runner field coming back to battle for a $7,114,500 top prize. Dan Smith leads for the second day in a row with 4,865,000, while others still in contention include Mario Mosboeck (3,340,000), Mikita Badziakouski (2,935,000), Isaac Haxton (2,570,000), Santhosh Suvarna (1,845,000), and Nick Petrangelo (1,445,000). The action will be livestreamed starting at 4 p.m. local time.
Finally, Wednesday will see Day 1b of the $1,600 buy-in, $2 million GTD NLH event take place, as well as the start of both the $3,000 buy-in, $200K GTD Dealer's Choice Championship at noon and the $50,000 buy-in WPT Alpha 8 at 1 p.m. At 6 p.m. this evening, there will also be a $400 milestone satellite for the $1,600 NLH event with 25 seats guaranteed!
