Kartik Ved raised to 6,500,000 in middle position, Maria Ho reraised the cutoff, and Ved called all in for 10,200,000.

Kartik Ved: KQ
Maria Ho: A9

Ved needed to improve as the J97 flop kept him behind, before the K hit the felt on the turn to vault him in front. Ved just needed to fade an ace or nine, but the 9 spiked the river to give Ho trips, and Ved was eliminated in seventh place for $80,000.

Ho Takes From Kitai in Blind Versus Blind Confrontation

Livello 37 : 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante

Action folded to Maria Ho in the small blind who raised to 3,000,000 with the AJ. Davidi Kitai looked down at A8 in the big blind and decided to make the call to see the flop come 2A3.

Ho paused briefly before reaching for chips and continuing with a bet of 2,200,000. Kitai made the call to see the turn bring the Q.

Ho paused again before deciding to bet out again in the amount of 8,500,000. Kitai entered the tank for over a full three minutes until a clock was eventually called.

The tournament direct counted down Kitai's hand as he continued to woek through the spot, but the countdown expired and killed his hand before he made a decision and the pot was pushed in Ho's direction.
