Barer Not Buying Hansen's Flop Lead; Jorgne Three-Bets Boatman as Table is Put on the Clock
Ami Barer raised to 210,000 under the gun and Sindre Hansen called in the big blind.
Hansen led out for 160,000 on the 10♣4♦7♥ flop and Barer raised to 775,000. Hansen quickly folded.
The next hand, Barny Boatman raised to 200,000 in the cutoff, Peter Jorgne three-bet to 650,000 on the button, and Boatman called.
The flop came Q♠7♣2♥ and Boatman snap-folded once Jorgne continued for 575,000.
A tournament official came to the table to warn them that they were significantly behind the pace of the feature table and that the other table would wait for them to play a few more hands before continuing. "What's the point of having these, then," Boatman said as he picked up his time banks.
