Poker's Elite Come Out to Shine in the First €25,000 Event at EPT Paris
Le Palais de Congres plays host to some of the biggest names in poker today when the first €25,000 No-Limit Hold’em event of the 2024 PokerStars European Poker Tour Paris festival begins at 2 p.m. local time.
This is the first of six events at this buy-in level that will be played here in Paris. Last year’s events were won by a veritable who’s who of elite players, including Chris Brewer and Stephen Chidwick.
2023 EPT Paris €25,000 Results
Champion | Entries | Earnings | Runner-Up |
---|---|---|---|
Chris Brewer | 44 | €357,180 | Felipe Ketzer |
Teun Mulder | 51 | €389,870 | Tauan Naves |
Stephen Chidwick | 40 | €324,500 | Adrian Mateos |
Players begin the event with 100,000 chips and will play 30-minute levels. There is a 75-minute dinner break at the end of Level 10, with late registration closing once action resumes which should come around 8:45 p.m. Players are allowed a single reentry during the registration period.
This event utilizes a 30-second shot clock for the duration of the tournament. Players receive six time banks to start and get an extra one at the beginning of every odd-numbered level. This is a single-day event, so there is a chance it will be a late night by the time a champion is crowned.
