Poker's Elite Have a Chance to Shine in the First €25,000 No-Limit Hold'em Event at EPT Prague
A crisp wintery wind is in the air as poker’s high rollers descend on the Czech capital for the first €25,000 No-Limit Hold’em event at the 2023 PokerStars European Poker Tour Prague festival beginning at 12:30 p.m. local time.
This is the first of five events at this buy-in level that will be held inside the Hilton Prague. At last year’s festival, British pro Ben Heath captured back-to-back titles on his way to leaving Prague with more than €500,000 in earnings. EPT champion Adrian Mateos also took down a title to close out the stop.

Players begin the event with a starting stack of 100,000. Unlimited reentries are allowed during the registration period, with late registration open until the end of Level 10 at around 6:15 p.m. There is a 15-minute break after every four levels and a 75-minute dinner break at the end of Level 14, which should come around 8:15 p.m. A 30-second shot clock is in play from the start of the event.
This is scheduled as a one-day event, so a champion will be crowned by the end of the night. Some of poker’s biggest names will take to the felt today to battle for the EPT trophy, and PokerNews will be following all the action and providing live updates until one player outshines the rest of the game’s bright stars.
