And On the Fourth Day...

Prague Castle
Prague Castle

... the final 31 players returned to the felt at the PokerStars.com EPT Prague.

It's Day 4 here in this charmingly frigid city, and we're down to our final four tables. Three of those tables will have to go before we break for the night, and the final table of eight will return tomorrow to play down to a champion.

Right now, it's Patrick Renkers who's doing the most damage. Thanks to a pair of huge pots last night, his 2.4 million chips make his stack about twice as big as his nearest rival. There are a few sharks circling in the waters beneath him, though.

Team PokerStars Pros Jude Ainsworth and Juan Manuel Pastor are both looking to add their names to the history books, and both will begin play with more-than-average chips. Mike "Timex" McDonald is already in the EPT history books with a win at EPT4 Dortmund. He followed that up with another final table there one year later, and again at EPT6 Deauville. In his six EPT cashes, he's never finished worse than 18th. As a side note, McDonald's first career live cash came here at EPT Prague 4 years ago.

Apart from those gents, we've also got the likes of Mads Wissing, Ari Engel, Nicolas Levi, and Chris Moorman still in the hunt. And with 31 players left, we still have one woman standing, the Czech Republic's own Michaela Smrckova.

The cards are set to go flying in just about fifteen minutes, and we've got ourselves a ringside seat. Don't wander off on us. This figures to be a fine day of poker in Prague.
