Kimon Lehmann Eliminated in 12th Place (€35,000)

Kimon Lehmann - 12th Place
Kimon Lehmann - 12th Place

When we arrived at the table, Nicolas Levi had 400,000 in front of the betting line and Kimon Lehmann had 200,000 in front of the betting line. We missed the opening action, but Levi's reraised did get called and the two of them saw the flop come down {Q-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}.

Levi was first and asked for a count on Lehmann's stack. He had around 1.6 million and Levi decided to bet 356,000. Lehmann raised all in and Levi called.

Levi: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}
Lehmann: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

The turn was the {5-Diamonds} and river the {J-Clubs} to allow Levi's kings to hold up. Lehmann was eliminated.

Finger Getting Frisky

Martin Finger is trying to hold things together over there, but it seems like the wheels have begun to come off just a bit. Or else he's consciously kicked into hyper gear.

After dropping a couple big pots in this level and having some difficulty maneuvering his big stack, we picked up another big pot brewing before the flop. It was Guillem Cavaller who opened to 60,000 in middle position, and Finger decided to tangle again. He three-bet to 140,000, but Cavaller came right back over the top with another raise to 300,000 straight. Finger was having none of it, though, and he shoved all in with his covering stack. Cavaller insta-folded, so perhaps Finger knows something we don't.

As the dealer pushed him the pot, he flashed his {4-Spades} {6-Spades}.

Cavaller's Double

Nicolas Levi called a Martin Finger raise of 75,000 before the flop, and Ari Engel squeezed in a reraise to 170,000 in position. Action came to the small blind, and Guillem Cavaller spent a while in the tank before shoving all in for 511,000 total. Finger snap-called the shove, and the rest of the table folded out of the way.

Showdown
Finger: {10-Clubs} {10-Hearts}
Cavaller: {Q-Spades} {Q-Diamonds}

Cavaller's overpair held strong as the board ran {5-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} {A-Hearts} {A-Spades} {4-Hearts}, and he's found a much-needed double to move back over the million-chip mark.

Pontus Khosravi Eliminated in 13th Place (€27,000)

Kimon Lehmann raised to 60,000 under the gun, and the table folded all the way around to the blinds. In the big, Pontus Khosravi three-bet shoved his last 420,000. Lehmann thought it over for just a bit, but he eventually made the call to put him to the test.

Showdown
Lehmann: {Q-Hearts} {J-Hearts}
Khosravi: {A-Hearts} {K-Diamonds}

The {4-Spades} {7-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} flop was safe for Khosravi, but the turn card would prove to be his demise. The {Q-Spades} dropped off the deck, and Lehmann was one card from the knockout. The river was the {5-Spades}, and that's that for Khosravi. Big Slick betrays him, and he'll leave in 13th place with €27,000 in his pocket.

Wiese Picks One Up

From the cutoff seat, Mads Wissing raised to 60,000. Andreas Wiese reraised to 145,000 from the big blind and Wissing called.

The flop came down {J-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts} and Wiese bet 165,000. Wissing made the call to see the {3-Hearts} land on the turn. Wiese stayed aggressive and bet 285,000. Wissing tanked long and hard, but then folded his hand and Wiese won the pot.

Finger Can't Scare Levi Away

Nicolas Levi
Nicolas Levi

Under the gun, Nicolas Levi opened with a standard raise, and the table folded around to the blinds. In the small, Martin Finger stuck in another raise to 120,000 total, and Levi came right back over the top to 231,000 total. The five-bet came from Finger, stacking up 405,000 chips and sliding them across the betting line. It would not get through. Levi shoved in on the six-bet, and Finger snap-folded.

The two men are almost dead even in chips now -- so close that we'll call it a tie.
