I 100 Finalisti del WSOP Circuit National Championship
Con la conclusione del $10,000 Regional Championship dell’ Harrah’s New Orleans, il 2010-2011 World Series of Poker Circuit ha definito la sua lineup da 100 giocatori per la prima edizione del National Championship $1 Million Freeroll. Il WSOP-C è iniziato nove mesi fa, ha fatto tappa in 15 diversi locali, ha assegnato 154 anelli d’oro ed ha attratto 20,000 giocatori di poker. Ora, i migliori cento giocatori di questa serie di eventi andranno al Caesars Palace di Las Vegas questo weekend (27-29 Maggio) per cercare di vincere la parte più grossa di un montepremi da $1 milione di dollari ed un bracciale WSOP.
Ai giocatori erano stati concessi quattro modi per qualificarsi a questo evento. Quindici posti sono stati assegnati ai vincitori dei Main Events da $1,500, altri 15 sono andati a quello che veniva definito il campione del casinò di ogni tappa, 36 posti sono stati riservati a coloro che hanno raggiunto i tavoli finali nei quattro Regional Championships, e gli altri posti sono andati ai giocatori migliori della classifica generale.
Alla fine è stato addirittura necessario uno spareggio per decidere chi era qualificato dato che ben 18 giocatori si trovavano in lotta per tre posti con 100 punti a testa. Si è deciso in base all’ammontare di denaro vinto così sono stati ammessi alla finale Stephen Kats ($43,522), David Paredes e Dan Perper ($39,346 a testa).
